Artist Talk at The Front, an artist run gallery at 4100 St. Claude, on Friday July 3rd at 7pm with Polymorphic Plastic Parade from Greensboro, North Carolina. This collaborative happening features a village of tipis made with salvaged and renewable resources. Tipis will be on view July 3rd and 4th at Irby Field, City Park between Victory and Dreyfous Streets, and in the backyard of The Front.

Project Scope: Vision, Aim, & Objectives

Who or what this project would impact:
PPP WILL TOUR THE UNITED STATES THIS SUMMER FOR 4 WEEKS, VISITING BOTH CITIES AND RURAL COMMUNITIES. IN COLLABORATION WITH CITY PARK AND THE FRONT COLLECTIVE, PPP WILL VISIT NEW ORLEANS ON JULY 3TH AND 4TH.
Project intends to address:
THE JUXTAPOSITION OF MODERN WASTE MATERIALS WITH THE HUMBLE ICONIC STRUCTURE OF THE TIPI ENCOURAGES SITE VISITORS TO CONTEMPLATE ISSUES OF EXCESS AND SUSTAINABILITY IN PRESENT TIMES.

THE TIPIS WILL BE INSTALLED ON IRBY FIELD IN CITY PARK BETWEEN VICTORY AND DREYFOUS STREETS AND IN THE BACKYARD OF THE FRONT JULY 3RD AND 4TH.
