Another Sign-Up!

Sign-Up is proud to announce that we have installed another sign at Alpha Coffee Shop, located at 2010 Magazine Street.

Today is the shop's grand opening. Free coffee served from 7AM - 1PM

Along with a great sign, the project also supported the shop by creating a logo, business card design, window decals, and labels.

Alpha Coffee Shop is a community business aimed to train and empower young people in the service industry. The business was created in partnership with Saint Thomas Community Health Center and is housed inside the clinic's facility.

After months of delayed operations, the new manager Carla Briggs, has successfully, trained a group of young people and opened the doors. She contacted Sign-up for creative and production support that would otherwise have been difficult to secure.

Along with lead artist Rondell Crier, a young team of inspiring artists worked to create the sign. Joshua Jones (18 yrs old) is a YA/YA artist and student at The Blair School of Grocery. Also siblings, Reynatta Boykins (13yrs old) and Rendell Boykins (10yrs old), worked on the project and aspire to pursue art.
