Details

Nine Times Social and Pleasure Club will celebrate their tenth anniversary on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The posters will line the parade route. There will be three posters, broadsides. One will detail the history of the club, one will focus on the history of the Desire Housing Development, and the third will focus on the role of Nine Times in the process of rebuilding the upper Ninth Ward.

Why this project is being done:
This project will help Nine Times celebrate their tenth anniversary, giving graphic representation to the central ideas of their parade.
Who or what this project would impact:
These posters commemorate and celebrate a Social Aid and Pleasure Club and the neighborhood they come from.

Project Timeline

The posters will line the parade route on November 23, 2008.

Plan for implementing this project:
Nine Times and the NSP will design posters with Erik Kiesewetter. We will print posters and mobilize to have them line the route.
