KKProjects is a non-profit artspace in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans. Homebase to the Life is Art Foundation, KKProjects seeks to establish the Good Life through experimental works of installation and performance art, and through programs that support emerging and established artists. Kirsha Kaechele serves as Director alongside a quickly expanding crew dedicated to making it happen.

Project Scope: Vision, Aim, & Objectives

Why this project is being done:
We exist to bring inspiration and healing to the St. Roch neighborhood and the larger world by showing truly inspiring works of art, sparking collaborations, and artist residency and education programs. We also throw fabulous parties.
Who or what this project would impact:
KKProjects impacts artists who participate in exhibitions, our neighborhood youths, visitors to the gallery, and the New Orleans art community. KKProjects is impacting art internationally by participating in off-site projects with experimental works
Project intends to address:
Through our activities we address the intense need for neighborhood exposure to art, and inspire the exploration the creative process. Unlikely and wonderful collaborations result.
Included or excluded:
We are also actively engaged in restoring historic buildings while implementing the edge of ecological design practices, and through our work, explore the bounds of architectural theory.

This project is, most definitely, ongoing.

Plan for implementing this project:
We exhibit new installations regularly, and ring them in with spectacular events. We will also be offering art classes, which will be open to the public.
