Flags for the City is a three-month youth silkscreen workshop that uses the flag as a unique vehicle for expression. We are working bi-weekly with the gifted art class at G.W. Carver to develop imagery and to master a range of screen printing techniques. Each student designs and prints multiple flags, and as a class we are sewing them together to create colorful strands to hang around the city.
